On 22 July 2026, the President of the ASMO, Prof. Bernhard Egger, met with the Executive Board of the Akademie Menschenmedizin at their invitation. The meeting involved a very constructive exchange, with a mutual commitment to work more closely together in future towards the goal of “stopping the increasing economisation of our healthcare system”. The aam Executive Board also stated that the Swiss Medical Oath is to play an important role in their new manifesto. Furthermore, as a sign of mutual support, the logos of both associations are to be published on each other’s websites. The ASMO warmly welcomes this development and looks forward to the collaboration!
