Following the Clinic for Surgery of the Cantonal Hospital of Fribourg in June of this year, on November 1, 2018, the entire FMCH Board of Directors took the Swiss Oath "in corpore".
The FMCH is thus sending a clear signal for the dignity of the medical profession and its responsibility towards patients. The Swiss Oath is primarily intended to protect the valuable patient-doctor relationship from economic influences.
The Physicians' Oath is attracting increasing attention in politics, in the media, but also on an international level. Swiss television SRF was present at the swearing-in ceremonies on November 1, 2018, and reports below.
